Class snack sign-up sheet

Teachers and class parents use a snack schedule so one family brings snacks each week. Make the schedule once, share it with the class, and parents pick a week that works for them.

No account needed for you or your guests.

How it works

  1. Start from the template. The slots are already filled in. Change names, dates and spots to fit your plans.
  2. Share one link. Send it by WhatsApp, email or text. People open it on any phone or computer.
  3. Watch it fill up. Everyone picks a slot and types their name. Full slots close automatically, and a waitlist catches anyone who missed out.

Setting up a snack rotation

Create one slot per week with one spot each. The template does this for you with dates already filled in, starting next Monday. Add as many weeks as there are families, or cover a full term.

Write the class rules in the description: how many children are in the class, which snacks are fine, and any allergies to keep in mind.

Allergies and privacy

Mention allergies in general terms ("no nuts in this class") rather than naming children. A first name or a family name is enough for parents to sign up.

If you'd rather parents don't see each other's names, switch off "Everyone can see who signed up". You still see the full list.

Questions

Do parents need an app?

No. The link opens in any browser on a phone or computer.

Can a parent swap their week?

Yes. They can remove their own sign-up and pick another week, as long as it isn't full.

How long is the schedule kept?

Until 30 days after the last date on the sheet. Then it's deleted automatically.
